The admission process at Patel Law College is designed to select and enroll aspiring students who are passionate about the legal profession and committed to academic excellence. We strive to provide a fair and transparent process that ensures the selection of candidates with the right aptitude, skills, and potential to succeed in the field of law.

To begin the admission process, prospective students are required to submit a completed application form along with the necessary documents, including academic transcripts, standardized test scores (if applicable), and any other supporting materials. ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Candidates shall fill in an online application – Click here to Apply Online
Status of the application shall be updated through email/ SMS. Call/Visit the college office for completing admission formalities.

CERTIFICATES TO BE SUBMITTED FOR ADMISSION:

Candidates must submit their application in the prescribed form in the office on or before the date prescribed by the village.

  • Selected candidates shall submit the following original certificates at the time of admission.
    • Marks card of SSLC, PUC (Both I and II year for five year law course and SSLC, PUC and Degree for Three year law course.
    • Transfer Certificate.
    • Caste Certificate(in case of SC/ST/BT/OBC).
    • Three passport size photographs.
    • Migration Certificate
    • Aadhaar copy
  • Foreign students and students from other states shall also submit:
    • Migration Certificate.
    • Eligibility Certificate.
    • Visa and Passport Certificate.
    • Medical Certificate.
    • Study Certificate.
    • The Principal reserves the right to reject admission to any candidate without assigning reasons.

ELIGIBILITY CERTIFICATE

Candidates who have passed the qualifying from outside karnataka or from a foregin country, need to mandatorily obtain Eligibility Certificate prior to admission. Click here

SELECTION PROCESS

3 – 5 Years course: Based on first-come-first-serve basis. Personal Interview shall be held for other candidates.
5 – Year course: An Applicant who has passed in 10+2 or 10+ Diploma.

Admission process has commenced. Selection Lists are published as per the below Schedule:

Eligibility for 3 and 5 years BA LLB Course

  • For 3 Year LLB: An applicant who has graduated in any discipline of knowledge from a university established by an Act of Parliment or by a State Legislature or an equivalent recognized as equivalent to the status of an Indian University by an authority competent declare equivalence, may apply for 3year degree course in law leading to the conferment of LLB degree on successful completion of the regular programme conducted under these regulations.
  • For 5 year B.Com LLB.: An applicant who has passed in 10+2 or 10+ Diploma.
  • Minimum percentage of marks in qualifying examination shall not be minimum 45% for general category.   42% OBC category applicants and 40% of total marks in case of SC and ST applicants.
  • Provided that applicants who have obtained 10 + 2 or graduation through open universities system directly without having basic qualification for pursuing such studies are not eligible for admission to 5years LLB Law Course of KSLU, Hubli.
